This impressive steading conversion is in the highly desirable Cairngorms National Park, surrounded by stunning open countryside.

Easter Cullachie Steading is very private and offers guests both space and comfort with the accommodation generously set out over two floors.

There are four smartly presented bedrooms, two benefiting from en-suite facilities.

The large upper floor sitting room provides fabulous views across the picturesque countryside and with its woodburning stove, guests can totally relax and enjoy the comfort of this lovely room.

The kitchen/dining area is a sociable place with a seating area and meals can be prepared and enjoyed together around the table.

Adjacent to the kitchen there is a nice snug area for reading etc.

Much care and thought has gone into the outside space and visitors can sit on the patio at the rear and enjoy an early evening BBQ or relax in the front garden and soak up the tranquil views whilst sipping an early evening glass of wine.

Situated midway between the pretty villages of Boat of Garten and Nethy Bridge there is easy access to good local services as both villages have a shop and hotel.

This is an area not only of outstanding beauty, but is also brimming with activities and wildlife.

For walkers and cyclists this is paradise but the list of available activities here is endless.

You can enjoy clay shooting, quad bike trekking, sled dog rides, fishing, water sports and golf or simply tour the Whisky Trail and partake in some tasting.

A simply perfect location and great holiday home.

About the location

Aviemore 7 miles; Grantown-on-Spey 7 miles.

Boat of Garten is a small village situated in the Cairngorms National Park near the River Spey. Due to its rural location, the village is a great base for those seeking to discover the impressive, rugged landscape of the region and the abundance of wildlife that resides here. Due to its close proximity to the large population of Ospreys at RSPB: Loch Garten, the village is also known as Osprey Village. In the village itself, you can find the family run 1896 Gallery, Anderson's Restaurant, a Post Office with a delicatessen, a shop with a cafe and The Boat Hotel where you spend an evening dining out in style. Enjoy fishing on the River Spey, or play a round of golf at the Boat of Garten Golf and Tennis Club, which boasts an 18-hole course designed by professional golfer and golf-course architect, James Braid. The village is a short drive from the town of Aviemore, where you can enjoy outdoor activities all year round; enjoy skiing in the winter months, or walk, climb and cycle through the summer. Also nearby is the Caledonian Pine Forest, with many marked walks and trails to explore. Boat of Garten is a wonderful spot from which to enjoy a holiday exploring this stunning national park.
