  • "This was the best equipped apartment we have stayed in this year out of four, there was everything you could want from a sewing kit to Scrabble to two casserole dishes!"

Tweed is situated in a beautiful area with lovely beaches, forests and little towns. Douglas responded to our query about the internet immediately. The town is a few minutes walk away and there is a Co-op and a butchers, fish shop and fish and chip shop, two small coffee shops and a couple of hotels doing food, and a swimming pool. There are walks in the area from everyone from gentle to advanced. There is also a train to Inverness and the far north four times a day with a stop in the village. Dunrobin Castle is nearby and a great day out with a very cute little station. Our only grumble is with Sykes who continually send holiday information on email to the wrong person out of myself and my partner. It seems like whoever has booked that time, doesn't receive the information required! We think that what might be happening is information is sent to the lead person listed for that holiday whoever has booked. It needs sorting out.
