Just show me Aviemore Cottages

Choose one of our Aviemore cottages and enjoy a holiday of excitement and adventure at the gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.

Lovers of the great outdoors need look no further, with an almost endless supply of recreational pleasures for both the beginner and expert. During winter, this is a great place to learn to ski and snowboard. At other times, climbing, mountaineering, high level walking, hiking and mountain biking (from easy routes to white knuckle trails!) are all popular.

For fun on the water in and around Aviemore, enjoy water sports like sailing, windsurfing and rafting; or take advantage of the long summer evenings and fish for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on the River Spey.

Family days to the Rothiemurchus Highland Estate, just outside Aviemore, are a must for activities with a difference - for example, deer-walking safaris. And don't forget to take the children up Cairn Gorm Mountain on the UK's highest funicular railway for homemade cake and piping hot chocolate at the Ptarmigan Restaurant - their faces will light up! Or hop aboard the Strathspey Steam Railway for a nostalgic journey and fantastic views of the Cairngorms.

From lazy Sunday brunches to gourmet cuisine, Aviemore features a lovely selection of dining venues, as well as a choice of quality shops, whether you're in need of an ice pick, essential food items or looking for a keepsake to take home.

All in all, an Aviemore cottage makes the perfect base from which to discover the many delights of the Highlands.
