  • "Our second stay at Emma’s."

Roomy and comfortable accommodation. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and generous allowance of washing and dishwasher tablets and welcome pack.

  • "Lovely peaceful village."

Accommodation was clean amd spacious and convenienlty placed to visit all the attractions on our bucket list. The single room was comfortable but would not suit an adult who is less agile having steps up to it possibly because it was originally designed for a child. Great for older children and teenagers though!

  • "Spacious, spotlessly clean home with everything included you could require."

Beautiful views across the back of the house. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Ideal location for exporting the surrounding area.

  • "A spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable house."

Great location for getting around as it's near the A1. Would recommend and we hope to go again

  • "Really great holiday house."

Really clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again. Only downside was parking outside was a bit tricky- all the bays were often full, and there were also cars parked all along the road outside and on the grass verge at times. That really was our only grumble really though.

The house has open fields at the back with loads of bird life and I even saw a hare.Sparkly clean and very well equipped beyond the usual with tinfoil,clingfilm,condiments,tea,coffee.etc.I heartily recommend it.

  • "Great place to kick back and relax in."

Has everything you need, it’s very comfortable, clean and warm. Great dog friendly pub and walks within minutes. Will certainly stay again if we return to Northumberland.

  • "The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and had everything you needed for a holiday."

The only thing that might be helpful was info on the heating system as it came on during the day when it wasn't needed and I could have adjusted the timer for accordingly, saving fuel. Many thanks though for everything.

  • "There is no grassed area to the rear of the property, so if you have a dog, you may wish to take it out across the road to what seemed to be a communal lawn first thing in the morning and last thing at night."

  • "Lovely setting."

Very well equipped, extras like washing pods, dw tablets, kitchen roll very welcome. Oil tank in garden was a bit smelly. A clothesline or rack would have been more economical than the tumble drier. Would recommend.

The location is ideal for a quiet holiday retreat but at the same time being convenient to visit all that the area has to offer. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Emma's was in a great location - only a short drive to the A1 which made visiting local attractions really easy."

The house itself was clean and well-stocked with crockery and cookware. Lovely view of the fields out the back and the road to the front was quiet. The local NCC parking disc was handy too.
