"Beautiful property in excellent location."
Friendly owner. Great to have off road parking. Kitchen very well stocked. Bed comfy, sofas less so but not worth knocking a star off. Great shower pressure. Lovely garden, sadly too cold to make much use of. Many thanks for the welcome gift.

Everything was very clean and the facilities were excellent. We would happily stay again - or better still move in permanently! Our only suggestion is that little signs were perhaps needed on the gates of the lovely shared garden, reminding other families that this is a shared facility.

"We have been coming to Grange Cottage for 10 years now, usually once a year."
We always enjoy our stay and especially the garden in May. We just felt the property seemed a bit tired and unloved now and needs an update. Suggestions would be more cutlery in the kitchen please. Didn’t seem like enough for six people. Also, the beds were uncomfortable and lumpy and one duvet appeared grubby and worn out. Hope this is helpful feedback.
The mattresses toppers have all been replaced and mattresses checked. Duvets all checked. More cutlery provided. We do endeavour to keep the property well maintained and is checked over at every changeover. Thank you Mark for your helpful feedback which enables us to keep the property in top condition. "Second visit to this beautiful dog friendly property."
Blessed with lovely weather and consequently spent a lot of time out and about but enjoyed returning to our temporary home and the welcome of an AGA. Lovely to have parking and a very pretty secure garden to enjoy. The welcome gift of wine and snacks were very much appreciated. Hope to return again soon.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick.
