    Size was good for 4 adults. Only issue was you have to guess the cooker temperature as they have rubbed off. So trial and error on that one lol. Comfy bed. Nice and warm would return. Could do with Netflix.

    Beautiful Apartment, very close to all amenities on a very quiet street, disc parking opposite only 2 hours kept having to move the car

    Hi Jane, glad you liked our apartment. Disc parking is convenient for off loading and then there are several free 24 hour car parks within a few minutes walk.   • "This is a fantastic property."

    It’s slap bang in the middle of the town, parking is really easy and close by if you want to park overnight. The apartment was nicely decorated, had two comfy sofas, two comfy double beds and lovely bedding. It was great to have two toilets and a kitchen so we weren’t dining out all week. There is a Morrisons in walking distance, so we made our own food. Nice little TV for a night in and has good Wi-Fi. Power shower is a POWER shower. My goodness, I was not expecting that water pressure ha! We were a little unsure how easy it would be to heat, because of the single glazed (beautifully original) windows, but the heating works a treat and the whole place was warm within 10 minutes. Could be a little bit loud in the mornings due to the windows, but I just put a white noise playlist on and it drowns it out. That’s the only minor comment on the property, everything else was fab. Northumberland has a funny parking system, where you have a timer disk that you put in your window to indicate what time you have arrived. They are £1 to buy them, but if you can wait till you check in, there is a disk there for you free of charge. Thank you for your letting out your lovely apartment.

Alnmouth 4 miles; Bamburgh 15 miles; Rothbury 10 miles.

The attractive and historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, opened in 2002, are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden, which will delight novice and experienced gardeners alike. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films! The town's narrow streets have seen little change since the days when the London to Edinburgh stage coach passed through and the Market Place, with its stone cross, is still the central feature and the ideal venue for the weekly Saturday market. Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby.
