"Excellent property well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday."
Very nicely decorated and lots of space. Set in a very quiet neighbourhood in the centre of Beadnell. Only improvement we would suggest is the quality of the pillows supplied- with everything else being so good these were a little bit tired and uncomfortable in comparison.

Maintained to the highest standard. Well equiped with everything required for the perfect holiday. Ideally located in a very quiet part of the village surrounded with friendly residents. Local shop stocking an amazing amount of essentials and excellent meals served at the local pub.

"We've stayed in Beadnell and the surrounding areas many times, over the last 20 years."
We all felt that Polished Pebble is one of the nicest places we've stayed in during that time. It has a lovely open plan yet cozy and comfortable vibe to it. The decoration and furnishings are lovely, and the owner has clearly put a lot of effort into their property. I just hope that everyone else who stays there, continues to look after it as we did! The cul-de-suc is such a peaceful little spot, it made for a great break from the daily grind to recharge the batteries.

The property
Located in the heart of beautiful Beadnell in Northumberland, Polished Pebble is an immaculate single-storey property ideal for a family on holiday or a small group of family and friends.
The open-plan living space is bright and airy with ample seating arranged in front of a stove-effect fire which with the addition of tasteful soft furnishings and décor in delicate hues, creates a warm and welcoming ambience.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
