  • "A wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage which is in a lovely village & driving distance to many places."

We visited Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick, Rothbury & Cragside. Everything in the cottage was spotlessly clean. Plenty of instructions & local information if you need it. Loved the little extra's ie bottle of wine and delicious eggs kindly left by the owner. Highly recommend Sunnyhills farm shop & cafe which is walking distance from the house, wonderful food.

  • "Perfect place to stay close to the A1, easy to get access to all the places we wished to visit."

Clean and well looked after building. Not far to walk in to Belford either for the shop, a meal or a drink.

  • "The Stables accommodation at Belford were superb."

The property was spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. We had a welcome bottle of prosecco in the fridge and some eggs from the owners chickens on the farm next door waiting for us. The shops in Belford are a short walk away and there is plenty to do and see in the area during the week. We enjoyed our stay at The Stables and would recommend the accommodation for anyone looking to stay in the area.

My husband and two children enjoyed nearly two weeks at the cottage. Rebecca and Neil are lovely hosts and we’re happy to help with any questions about the cottage and had lots of great recommendations.
