The property

The Haven is a mid-terrace cottage, situated in the hamlet of Burnmouth, just 2.7 miles from the delightful small town of Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders.

This property is set opposite the harbour and is accessed via a flight of steps, therefore, offering incredible sea views and providing the ideal setting for rest and relaxation for your break away.

Inside, guests can relax in front of the open fire and toast their toes after a busy day out exploring the area, whilst the chef in the party prepares a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy your meal together in the dining area, whilst gazing out to sea and thinking of what tomorrow will bring.

After dinner, venture up the stairs to the twin bedroom and then onwards up the spiral staircase to the double bedroom to enjoy a restful night’s sleep.

Both rooms boast sea views so you can rest assured that the sound of the sea will lull you to sleep.

In the morning, you can enjoy an invigorating shower in the shower room before the day ahead and then sip your coffee on the balcony whilst taking in the sea air.

The village of Burnmouth is within walking distance and is home to lovely coastlines, where in the summer grey seals can often be sighted in the sheltered bay.

Nearby, the town of Eyemouth has a lot to offer, why not enjoy fish and chips overlooking the beautiful harbour?

A visit to Gunsgreen House is also a must to learn all about this house’s role in the illicit smuggling of tea, tobacco, spirits and wine during the 1700s.

Further afield, guests can enjoy visits to Berwick-upon-Tweed and even a day trip to Edinburgh to enjoy all the shops, sights and sounds on offer.

This is a wonderful property, with spectacular views, that will be remembered for many years to come.
