We received the warmest of welcomes from the owner to this lovely accommodation which immediately felt homely and was very easy to live in. We would certainly like to return to this fascinating and very beautiful part of the country and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Little Gem again. Our only fear is that companies will increase the cost of accommodation so disproportionately, cashing in on the popularity of home stays following Covid, that we simply won’t be able to afford it. We hope sincerely that this won’t happen as it has been just wonderful to have such a restorative holiday in the UK. Reviewed by MaggieJul 2021 "Lovely little lodge, didn't want for anything."
