    “There is an issue with the bins.”

    They are emptied on a Thursday with change over on a Friday. When we got there both were full and we ended up having to take our glass waste home with us as there were no recycling of glass facilities. Needs an extra bin given the size of the Re needs to be a splash guard on the wall behind the hob. Frying anything meant the walls would be splashed had we not fashioned our our splatterguard out of chopping boards and foil. ...

The teak dining table and chairs present a beautiful spot to gather with your loved ones to enjoy delicious meals, with a large storage cupboard adjacent, and a separate utility room holding the washer/dryer.

Head down the hall to unwind in the family/games room where you can challenge someone to a game of table football, play on the Xbox or catch a real football match on the 50 inch TV, watching from the large comfy sofa.

Further down the hall is the wonderful sitting room; French doors lead to the garden and a lovely seating arrangement, including armchairs and 3 sofas, are positioned towards the 55 inch TV, perfect for a family film night or to listening and dancing to favourite tunes over the Bluetooth sound bar.

Step out into the glorious enclosed private garden and enjoy playing on the lawn on sunny days with little ones and pets, as well as taking some time to relax in the luxurious Jacuzzi hot tub with incredible views of the countryside offering the perfect backdrop.

A ground-floor double twin bedroom and a shower room present those less able or mobile with ground-floor living, whilst the other four bedrooms rest on the first floor.

Head upstairs to discover the large master bedroom lying beneath a vaulted ceiling with a beautiful ‘sputnik’ light and enjoying the benefits of a king-size bed, walk-in dressing room and a sparkling en-suite bathroom with superb free-standing bath and separate walk-in shower, with the best feature of all being the fabulous balcony complete with bistro table and chairs, so you can wake up with a view of the picturesque countryside.

Another king-size bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe with en-suite shower room, and the final two bedrooms both have king-size zip/link beds that can be made into twins, giving you more flexibility for your group, as well as their own en-suite shower rooms.

The first floor layout is completed by the family bathroom with a bath and separate shower.

Druridge Bay Country Park and its beautiful 4 miles of sandy beach is only 2 minutes away and is an idyllic spot to spend time outdoors.

Centred on Ladyburn Lake with surrounding meadows and woods, you can enjoy lovely walks here, before heading to the beach.The quaint seaport town of Amble can be reached in 6 minutes and is a bustling hub of local life with some excellent restaurants especially if you are a Seafood lover.

Head to the charming marina where you can catch a Puffin Cruise to take you out to Coquet Island to see the sea bird paradise there as well as a grey seal colony.

If you've ever wanted to learn how to surf, ride that wave and go to Northside Surf School or try out kayaking and canoeing with Adventure Northumberland at Warkworth.

The Northumberland Country Zoo is a fun day out for all, see the lemurs, fallow deer, arctic foxes and otters among many other animals.

The town of Alnwick also presents many attractions including Alnwick Castle where the first Harry Potter movie was filmed, Aln Valley Railway and The Alnwick Garden which is a day out in itself – don’t miss your opportunity to visit the ‘poison garden’! The lovely market town of Morpeth is situated centrally in Northumberland and is an ideal base from which to reach the coast or countryside. Offering the remains of an historic castle, lovely parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum, Morpeth is also ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, with miles of golden sands, the vibrant city of Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north, with its castle and gardens and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, with good walking amidst beautiful countryside.
