    So quiet and stream running by so relaxing.cottage was excellant loved it all. we have been to lots of places past year and this is top of the list.

The property

The Folly is a romantic cottage nestled into Middleton Burn, near Belford, making the perfect little hideaway at any time of the year for couple’s looking to explore the wonders of Northumberland.

The tranquil ambience will reach you on arrival, and the sound of the water flowing in the nearby stream is instantly captivating.

Wandering inside, the cream-coloured open-plan living space is an ideal social hub for guests to enjoy, sporting ample amenities to cater to your culinary needs.

The kitchen has everything you need to dine or enjoy a heart-warming meal for two in the dining space, whilst the sitting area boasts a characterful ceiling and tasteful lounge seating.

The ground floor is also home to a handy cloakroom.

Stairs will lead you up to a double bedroom complete with a balcony, so after catching your rest, you can watch the morning sunrise with a coffee in hand.

A second stairway leads up to a bathroom, hosting both a bath and a shower so you can relax in the evening or get ready ahead of your afternoon.
