The local bookshop and cafe a real treat. Cottage immaculate, warm and cozy. Garden well kept. Easy to walk the dog on footpaths along the Tweed.
"A lovely stay in Blinkbonny Cottage starting with a welcoming note from the owner."
Attractive decor and such a good feel to the house. Everything in good working order and spotlessly clean. The cottage is right in the heart of the friendly village. Direct access to St Cuthbert’s Way. We particularly appreciated the ease of contact with the owner when we weren’t sure how to put on the heating. Well placed for interest and visitor attractions including Dryburgh Abbey. Very good local shops and a restaurant within easy walking distance.
"All in all a comfortable stay."

I think it would be helpful list the slow cooker as a facility as it would have changed how I planned meals before setting off
Thank you and I have an entry on the website mentioning the slow cooker. Property Owner

Well double glazed and much less traffic than expected. We explored many of the smaller roads in the area and the scenery was stunning as were the historical ruins.

Really enjoyed my stay here.
"The cottage was everything you could ask for - great location lovely little house and very cosy with a really super open fire."
The kitchen was very well fitted out and the bedroom had a view over the village rooftops to the countryside beyond. The beds were very comfortable too. My only comment would be a reminder that there are stairs- the bathroom is upstairs and there is a rather high step to the kitchen! Personal plea to ALL holiday cottages - please provide higher chairs.
"This is a lovely cottage, well presented and very comfortable."
I can highly recommend a stay here.
"Really enjoyed our holiday at Blinkbonny Cottage , St Boswells."
The cottage was spottlessly clean and comfortable , with a lovely sitting area in the back garden and although on Main Street it was quiet and sheltered . St Boswells is a lovely place to stay, a quiet village that had a good deli and book shop and we had enjoyable meals at both the local restaurant and hotel restaurant.

About the location
Melrose 5 miles; Kelso 10 miles.
St Boswells sits on the south of the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders. There is much evidence of Roman occupation, dating from almost two thousand years ago. Today, St Boswells is known for being on the route of St Cuthbert’s Way, the long distance path from Melrose Abbey to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. The village boasts a hotel, café, several shops, post office, butcher and a garage. As well as spectacular salmon and brown trout fishing on the River Tweed, the local riverside walks take in attractive scenery. An ideal venue for walkers and cyclists, St Boswells is surrounded by the gorgeous Borders landscape. If you want to venture further afield, Edinburgh is approximately an hour away, as is the Berwickshire coast.
