  • "Everything the property detailed delivered."

Beautiful location, central to numerous landmarks in the borders. The house and garden were perfect for our family of 4 and a visit from grandparents (not too much pressure on one bathroom). We spent a week walking in the area, and frequenting local cafes - couldn’t ask for any more from a holiday let.

The setting is lovely, a tranquil spot but close to lots of walks and bike rides. The area has so much to offer that we would love to return and would have no hesitation in staying at Kirklands Garden House again.

  • "We have just returned from a lovely week at Kirklands Garden Cottage with our dogs."

Loads of walks from the door, local golf courses with short drive. Comfortable, clean and warm, detached Cottage with large open garden onto private woodlands ( you are asked to avoid these as they belong to neighbour). However, walk just a few hundred yards down quiet lane and you have direct access onto footpaths through woods and along river. We would love to return to this cottage but the property nolonger accepts pets unfortunately.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback and thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy! Property Owner
