The location was quiet and pretty but local to plentiful facilities and attractions. The kitchen was furnished with every utensil we could have wanted, the bedrooms were both spacious and comfortable. The accommodation was clean and tastefully decorated throughout - providing a perfectly calming holiday environment. We visited with our dog, who had country walks on the doorstep, and a safe enclosed patio to watch the world go by. Jo was the perfect welcoming host, leaving us to get on but on-hand to answer questions and share local knowledge. The provision of tea and coffee, welcome afternoon tea treats and dog biscuits were lovely touches that rounded off the whole experience. I can't recommend the HayBarn highly enough.

The setting is idyllic (the road is a bit noisy) and it was a lovely time of year to be there with the lambs and the new shoots. The country park was a big plus for us as we could really easily go for a walk with our dog. The owner was very friendly and left lots of lovely treats for us, including some fabulous fresh eggs from the resident chickens. A couple of things in the kitchen would help - a colander and few more baking trays (smaller ones). I would overall recommend the accommodation.

The Haybarn was spacious and extremely comfortable, with a strong Wi-Fi signal...this was important as a member of our party was working during our stay.
