  • "This is such a superb holiday cottage."

It has character, great spaces for relaxing and we feel immediately at home when we arrive.

  • "We enjoyed our stay very much."

The barn was comfortable and warm. There were numerous books, games etc which the children played with. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc but would benefit from a couple more larger saucepans for the size of our group. The position is ideal for visiting the Northumberland coast. Overall, we would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

  • "This is a really great place to stay at."

There's lots of space and the whole barn is beautifully arranged. There's a lovely garden and plenty of books, games, DVDs and maps. The owner is very helpful. The local area is great too especially for walking, there's a good pub in the village and it's only a short drive to the beach. Thoroughly recommend.

  • "We enjoyed another stay in Bremel Barn (our third now), this time in autumn rather than summer and enjoyed it as much."

It’’s so comfortable and a great home from home. Great space to relax in and/or return to after a busy day out and about too.

  • "Fantastic property in great condition, homely and well-equipped."

Children were well provided for with games and toys (suitable for five+). Quiet location away from the buzz but within easy distance of beaches etc. We returned this year as we'd enjoyed it so much last year.

  • "A very pleasant and comfortable house."

Well located for many of the places of interest locally...most days out involved thirty/forty minutes drive max. Very good pub in the village few minutes walk away (always book for dinner).
