    “Lovely log cabin.”

Beautiful interior, very well maintained both inside and out. (No dishwasher or washing machine.. was this in there before.. not that we needed them) ...

Beautiful interior, very well maintained both inside and out. (No dishwasher or washing machine.. was this in there before.. not that we needed them) Excellent location for exploring Northumberland. Visited Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick (10 miles) good amenities, kielder forest.. amazing trees this time of year. Seahouses, and boat trip to the Farne islands, seal spotting.. saw day old seals. A few shooting stars spotted in the dark skies whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Would love to return, but we have dogs.. would thoroughly recommend.

About the location

Alnwick 10 miles.

The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
