  • "We had a fantastic break at Lakeside Drive, all the party had a wow moment on entering the property, a nice touch to have a welcome pack waiting for us which even included dog treats for our dog."

We really enjoyed sitting on the porch on an evening and chatting even though “storm Ciaran” was in full flow. The instructions were clear and easy to follow for using the property and for getting to the adjacent park. Our children enjoyed the use of their facilities and we enjoyed a drink while watching them play. Felmoor site was excellent as a whole, friendly staff value for money food and drink at the Crazy Horse Saloon. We will definitely both recommend and return to Lakeside Drive and Felmoor park.

Thank you for your lovely comments. It's always great to hear that you have enjoyed your stay at the cabin even when enduring Storm Ciaran!! We were living there when the 'Beast from the East' blew in some years ago and we watched the snow from the terrace whilst enjoying some mulled wine!! You left the cabin really clean and tidy for which we thank you. You would be most welcome if you decide to return to 23 Lakeside Drive. Property Owner

Also, you left the cabin in immaculate condition which we really appreciate - you're welcome back anytime and we hope you may return sometime in the future. Property Owner

We had a slight problem with the septic tank, Rob and Nikki came to sort it for us that evening , the maintenance was carried out the next morning. The lodge was very private and we enjoyed watching the birds and the rabbits with their babies. We would highly recommend this lodge and thank Rob. And Nikki for a very happy week away. Lovely, spacious outside area creating a sense of privacy, and lots of nature literally on the doorstep. The site location just off the A1 meant easy access to explore many parts of Northumberland easily

  • "We have just returned from our holiday at 23 Lakeside Drive."

We had such a lovely time there. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious in a lovely woodland setting. The site is well managed and very well maintained and being just off the A1 makes travel to all of the surrounding areas very easy. Our Labrador Lola was made very welcome with her own water bowl and treats. I have never known her to settle in so quickly to a holiday home! Some very nice welcome touches from the owners for us too, thank you! If we were to return to this part of the country again we would definitely book this cabin and will be sharing details with all of our friends.

Delighted to hear you had such a great time at the cabin! Thanks for leaving it so neat and tidy. There's a lot to be said for the delights of Northumberland and we do our best to make you feel very welcome. Holiday time is to be relaxing and enjoyable!! We would love to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

The wildlife and deer passing the cabin at dusk added a touch of magic. If you want to experience a log cabin, this is it. The welcoming wine and chocolates most appreciated. The park is very well run and the on-site, "Crazy Horse Restaurant/Bar" worthy of visit. The location is well placed for visiting the many historical sites in Northumberland. It's very much our intention to return to 23 Lakeside Drive, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Rob and Niki for making it so. The Fosters

  • "Found this log cabin to be 5 stars plus."

Proper wooden lodge which keeps this home warm and well insulated. So relaxing, just the place for time out. For families or couples. Pictures don't do this place justice. The back of the property is very private, woodland tranquil. Wild life and trees in abundance. Owners have planted even more trees, so very secluded. Found Beaches not far away and great walks. Did not want to come away. Great time was had by all.

Really pleased that you had a thoroughly enjoyable stay! Thank you for leaving the cabin so clean and tidy - much appreciated!! You and the wee doggies would be welcome anytime. P.S Congrats to Wrexham FC on their promotion - i think you live fairly close to there!! Hope you had a safe journey home. Property Owner

Even though the cabin is in the middle of Felmoor Park it's like the entire world falls away the second you step foot in the cabin. Trees, and nothing but trees as far as the eye can see. The cabin is beautifully furnished and immaculately cleaned. We ended up bringing far too much stuff with us and we really needn't have bothered - the kitchen is equipped with everything we might need, plus tea and coffee (and a thoughtfully left bottle of milk in the fridge, which was much appreciated). If we're ever down in Northumberland again, we'll definitely be back!
