    So cosy, warm and quiet with pretty much all the basics. Comfy beds always a bonus. We wouldn't hesitate going back. Just maybe take a toilet roll or two as there wasn't any on arrival.

Outside are some lovely on-site facilities including a restaurant, cabaret, swimming pools and little buses and trains that take you to the centre of Haggerston Castle.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is the nearby town featuring a delightful history which can be seen in the local museum.

It is England's most northerly town boasting charming narrow streets and Elizabethan walls from which spectacular views over the coast and river estuary to Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island can be seen.
