“Lovely cottage in a really nice court yard.”

Parking was a little tricky, we managed to get a space on the street in a loading bay, and then had a few trips to and from the cottage, but had to leave one of us with the car at all times. Couldn't get a residents parking space as I think there are only a few, so had to park in the public car park and walk back to cottage with dogs and shopping, so not ideal. As you can only park for a max of 3 hours we had to remember to keep going back to the car, but the traffic warden was really helpful ...

Couldn't get a residents parking space as I think there are only a few, so had to park in the public car park and walk back to cottage with dogs and shopping, so not ideal. As you can only park for a max of 3 hours we had to remember to keep going back to the car, but the traffic warden was really helpful when we arrived and said to go back to the car after 6pm and change the time on the parking permit to 8am for the following day and then that would give us until 11am the following morning. But we soon got into the swing of it so it was fine. The cottage is lovely, no outside space for dogs, but ours are really well behaved so it wasn't an issue. Everything we needed in the cottage, and very comfortable, was lovely to be able to just walk straight out into the town, so very handy when we needed anything. Great park down the road to walk the dogs, we were only there as we were property hunting, so not really a holiday.
