Lovely little house with everything you might need. It is so handy for so many different adventures and Northumberland is a gorgeous, friendly county that I would return to again and again!

  • "We so enjoyed our stay here."

Thank you to Sykes and our host who was incredibly accommodating, and made communications very straightforward. The cottage is in a really lovely rural location, fabulous sunsets, walks from the door, quiet. The owner kindly gave plenty of recommendations for places to visit and eat - The Valley in particular was amazing. Super comfortable, neat, tidy, clean, well-provisioned property, highly recommended.

  • "We had a lovely, relaxing two nights at the cottage."

I have been feeling a bit tired after having Covid a few weeks ago and the cottage was quite literally what I needed to recharge. The comfiest bed ever, dog walks from the house and access to a tennis court to keep two teenage boys happy (even though they created a game of football tennis rather than using the racquets and balls kindly offered to them)! Corbridge is a beautiful village and I’m absolutely certain we will return. Thank you for a lovely short break.

Everything in the Cottage was completed to a high standard, spotlessly clean with quality bed linen and towels. Kitchen was well stocked with some lovely freebies, very kind and thoughtful. Beautiful location and friendly owners. Thank you so much.

The cottage was in a good location for walking into Corbridge, it was all spotlessly clean when we arrived and the beds very comfortable indeed. The bathroom had an excellent and powerful shower, the kitchen had everything you needed and the countryside views around the cottage in the autumn sunshine were just beautiful. We had such a lovely time here and would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Spotlessly clean. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

  • "Comfortable bed, hot water, warm, well equipped, easy distance from Corbridge."

We were very happy there. Some items of furniture too good for a holiday cottage. A hanging cupboard in the bedroom would be an improvement.
