  • "Very nice stay at number 8, well equipped with everything you could need."

The flat was in a great location for visiting other towns ,and central to jedburgh. If we return we would go earlier in the year as most bars and restaurants in jedburgh closed at 7pm.due to winter hours being applied. We would recommend this accommodation

  • "Our experience was bitter sweet, no stone was left unturned with regards to catering for everything."

Everything you are likely to need is at hand. Very comfortable and relaxed, nice bed and reasonably warm. We found the cutlery and pans were quite dirty, not been washed properly, greasy stains very evident. One frying pan needs throwing away it’s that bad. Our holiday was cut short because a resident above was making loud noises at 2am one morning and hoovering another morning at 6am. His washing machine was on the go one night for nearly 6 hours non stop. We could even hear him having a bath. We left 2 days early, it wasn’t acceptable. We came for a holiday not to hear the disturbance we witnessed. The owner was contacted when we got home who dealt with the problem promptly.

The ground floor apartment was clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the local area, where there is lots to see and do.

  • "Number 8 was fabulous as far as location goes."

There was the Jedbough festival on the week we were there and the festivities were all within a 5-10min walk. The only problem we had was the continuous drip of the hot water tap in the kitchen…easy fix I believe. The one thing I did notice is the bed was advertised as king bed. It was a Queen bed…minor thing though. Overall a great place…there is so much to see around Jedbough and the surrounding area

  • "Great apartment."

Everything needed was available. Lovely and clean. The off street parking behind had plenty of room and there was never a problem finding a space. So much to see in the town too.

  • "The flat could do with a "clothes horse" for drying wet towels for use the following day."

The tumble dryer would be expensive! The main bedroom could do with some curtains as the blind doesn't stop the street lights at night or the daylight in the mornings. We found the matress a bit soft and springy, but we realise that is what some people like. This is all "nit-picking" as overall we really enjoyed our stay!

  • "The apartment was nice and mostly had everything we needed, but we did have a few issues, ie the telly wasn't the best, none of the Netflix/ smart aspect worked and the bed is definitely not a king size as stated in the description."

Thank you for your feedback. We would have been only to happy to help if you had made us aware of the issues with the TV and Netflix during your stay. A new, king size mattress is now available to replace the existing one. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope to welcome you again to Number Eight in the future. Property Owner

  • "Lovely flat very well situated."

Could do with changing tub chair to larger more comfortable one. We were drawing straws ! No instructions in flat about tv (how to get freeview) and some info about where to eat and when open/closed would have been good. Bed really comfortable and shower easy and modern with choice of small and large heads. Very well equipped throughout from kitchen to separate washer and freezer. Even had inbuilt dishwasher but honestly busy out and about so not used. Ideal if you wanted to fully self cater or just b&b style. Would highly recommend.
