    Mr Tunesi

“Cottage was beautiful in lovely rural location, the only slight trouble we had was getting local taxis to find us, perhaps some local taxi numbers in welcome pack would be useful, once we had the Burnopfield taxi firm number we had no issues, hope to revisit again.”

The cottage

This semi-detached, Rowlands Gill cottage sits on the grounds of the village's former railway in Tyne and Wear.

Also backing onto the Derwent Walk, 4 Station Cottages is a stunning cottage in an ideal spot for exploring the countryside and towns of the area.

The interior is finished to an immaculate standard, with a glossy white kitchen providing quality fixtures and fittings to make the most of.

Put your feet up in the homely living/dining room, or for some quieter relaxing time - head to the conservatory where you can read a good book or listen to music whilst looking towards the delightful garden.

The ground floor is also occupied by a stylish bedroom and a family shower room housing a convenient utility area.

The first floor sits comfortably under the sloping ceiling, here you will find the two delightful en-suite bedrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath, these complete the interior of the property.

The high-class of 4 Station Cottages continues to its back garden, a beautifully kept lawn area with furniture and a summer house to make the most of, it also hosts remains of the old railway platform, adding great character to your stay.

For you outdoor lovers, the gate at the end of the garden opens up onto the wonderful Derwent Walk.

Rowlands Gill is a lovely village offering a number of places to eat and a supermarket.

From here you can visit the two popular places of Gateshead and Newcastle, both offering a wide variety of amenities and activities.

The North Pennines AONB is also within easy reach from the property.

A tastefully decorated cottage in a superb location for discovering Tyne and Wear.
