The property

Nestled in the village of Seaton Sluice, Northumberland, is this ground-floor apartment, 11 Marine View.

Sleeping up to four guests, this property is a homely setting for your next trip to Northumberland, marvellously located across the road from Blyth Beach and within easy reach of Whitley Bay and Newcastle upon Tyne.

As you enter the property, on your left is the sitting room, with plush leather seating and TV with Freeview, perfect for sitting together in the evening and cosying up beside the gas fire or socialising in the day as the sun shines through the large curved window that overlooks the sea.

Continuing through the property, you will come across the appealingly furnished and decorated living/dining room, where you can join together for family meals and make use of the additional seating area, where you can curl up in the armchair with a good book.

The well-equipped kitchen is located next to the dining room and contains everything you need for your self-catered stay, including a washer/dryer for your convenience.

Walk through the kitchen and you will come across a handy bathroom, featuring a shower over bath, where you can enjoy a moment of peace with a relaxing soak or grab a quick shower in the convenient shower room.

When night falls, head towards the front of the property and choose one of two double bedrooms; the first bedroom has a charming feel and a spacious fitted wardrobe; alongside a full-length mirror and vanity, ideal for getting ready for outings, while the second bedroom features a double bed and soft carpet, to make you feel relaxed and at home.

The rear door takes you outside to a shared patio area, which leads to a private multi-level garden, containing a lawned area and decking with outdoor furniture, perfect for sitting down and enjoying an alfresco coffee or morning read amongst the flowers.

The highlight of the apartment is most certainly its location; you are a stone's throw away from Blyth Beach - ideal if you're a family looking for an entertaining day at the seaside!

Seaton Sluice is also home to all of your amenities, including a convenience store and numerous pubs - all less than a mile away.

The town of Whitley Bay is only a ten-minute drive away, where you can enjoy outings to Whitley Bay Golf Club, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park or Tynemouth Aquarium, followed by a visit to the stunning Marden Quarry Nature Reserve, and be spoilt for choice for dinner with Whitley Bay's large selection of eateries.

If you want to marvel at local sights, you can go for a pleasurable walk along the coast to the renowned St. Mary's Lighthouse, or travel a little further and check out the breath-taking Tynemouth Priory & Castle; take a walk to the end of its pier to the reach the Tynemouth Pier Lighthouse.

The bustling city of Newcastle upon Tyne is less than half an hour away from the apartment, giving you a wealth of activities to do and places to explore; notable places that we recommend visiting with the family are The Discovery Museum, Tyne Bridge and the Victoria Tunnel Tours.
