We all loved the experience. It was very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was very clean and well presented. We would certainly come back again. Lowick village was a 15 minute walk away. The Black Bull pub was lovely, with very friendly staff.

  • "Lovely clean, cosy house in a peaceful and beautiful location we had a wonderful stay & would definitely return."

The photos on the listing don’t do the garden justice our dog loved it. Only point to mention is some coat hooks would be a useful addition for wet coats but other than that everything we needed was provided.

Thank you for feedback, so glad you had a relaxing stay Property Owner

  • "A lovely, spacious new build property situated on a farm near Lowick."

Immaculately presented and really well equipped with plenty of welcoming touches like books, maps and games. This was a great base for a week exploring the many beaches, castles and towns that the area has to offer.

  • "This is a lovely cottage and lovely location and the owners really nice and helpful."

However this was costly and I don’t feel got value for money. The place is obviously relatively knew and seems to have been rushed to get it occupied and filled with IKEA furniture and very poorly finished . I would expect a bit more refinement, doors are covered in paint, tiles grout and not finished, pictures hung up with pins and fall down at slightest breeze. The bedding and pillows are cheap with no life left in them. Only two channels can be watched on the on the TV. This does have the potential to be a very nice cottage but needs finishing and cost looking at.

  • "Really lovely cottage."

Peaceful location surrounded by nature. But conveniently located for holy island and other attractions. Very clean and new appliances. Had some lovely touches too like books and games for all ages as well as a welcome pack with bread and milk etc. which was very gratefully received. At dusk, we were visited by some local hares. Which was a joy to observe. We travelled as a multi generational family and it was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend this place as a nice place to stay.

  • "Beautiful modern and clean accommodation."

Lovely spacious property, within easy reach of places we planned to visit. We had our food delivered from tesco, and there's a lovely village shop providing anything we forgot. The views are lovely and a nice secluded garden provided with seating. The only things we found could be improved was a coffee table and place mats required in living room (we brought tables from the bedrooms downstairs). Hooks for dressing gowns & kitchen towels, and bins in bathrooms. For us, staying with elderly parents, a downstairs toilet would of been an improvement. Which we would have to consider on our next booking.

  • "Lovely property."

Very pretty location. Convenient for many destinations. Wildlife rich. The hares knew no boundaries. For our group it was very inconvenient having no downstairs toilet. The women in the group felt uncomfortable using upstairs bathroom due to clear glass in window and no curtains or blind. Just a personal preference but we found the beds a bit soft and the pillows very soft. A couple of nests of small tables would give you somewhere to put a coffee cup next to a chair or sofa and a selection of coasters on which to stand hot cups would be useful. We were disappointed at the absence of a visitor book, so bought you one.

  • "We had a great stay, brand new lodge very clean."

Hamper of butter, milk, bread tea coffee etc. had a small problem with the heating and Susie came and fixed it straight away. The views are excellent wild life amazing, Hares, Owls, and a variety of birds. Would recommend, easy access to A1 north and south, Berwick sea houses Alnwick and holy island not far away.
