    Mrs Wilson

“We have regularly booked cottages with Sykes cottages and always been happy with the property.”

We felt that this property was substandard, the decor and furnishings were tired looking and were in need of refreshing and updating. The parking space at the property was very narrow to get into, anyone with a large 4x4 would not be able to get through the gates therefore would not be able park off road. With regards to the rental of this property we felt it was expensive. We have previously rented a property in Morpeth through Sykes Cottages, which was outstanding and over £100 cheaper. ...

With regards to the rental of this property we felt it was expensive. We have previously rented a property in Morpeth through Sykes Cottages, which was outstanding and over £100 cheaper. We are sorry to give such poor feedback, but we feel that you need to check this property to see if it comes up to your standards for holiday lettings. Wilson May 2019

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. Regrettably, we do not advertise our property as being able to accommodate a 4x4 - If you had any issues with parking you could have contacted us and we would have been able to assist you. We pride our self on cleanliness and high standards (as you can see from previous feedback) so I am deeply upset that you didn't enjoy our beautiful property. If you had made us/ Sykes aware of any issues whilst you were in our property, we would have been happy to address any of the issues you had. - Sykes owner relations
