Location is great set in a peaceful farm and only a short drive to a variety of places from countryside to the coast. The cottage itself was superb, well equipped kitchen, good shower, comfortable beds, the owners have clearly thought of everything, even left a tasty orange cake on arrival which was scrumptious. The owner greeted us on arrival, very friendly and was great to get some local knowledge on places to visit. It will definitely be saved as a favourite and we would love to come back.

  • "We had a wonderful time at Pasture View."

It was clean with brilliant Covid measures in place (we stayed May 2021). The cottage was bright and airy, but also very cosy and comfortable. It was the perfect spot for visiting the coast and Alnwick, and our daughter loved watching the sheep in the next field. It felt very peaceful and relaxing after a very stressful year. Just the break we needed. We also visited the Apple Inn a couple of times to eat, which was excellent!

Highly recommend, it was sometimes hard to leave each morning to go and explore the fantastic and beautiful county of Northumbria. As an extra we also had newly born lambs in the field the cottage overlooked, a wonderful reminder that spring has finally arrived.
