  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pasture View."

It is in a lovely area of countryside and an excellent location for exploring the area. The cottage is spacious, very well equipped and very comfortable. The local information and maps were very helpful. Julie was an amazing host and had taken a lot of time and effort to make sure guests were safe in the current pandemic. Thoroughly recommended!

  • "We had a wonderful time at Pasture View."

It was clean with brilliant Covid measures in place (we stayed May 2021). The cottage was bright and airy, but also very cosy and comfortable. It was the perfect spot for visiting the coast and Alnwick, and our daughter loved watching the sheep in the next field. It felt very peaceful and relaxing after a very stressful year. Just the break we needed. We also visited the Apple Inn a couple of times to eat, which was excellent!

  • "What a find, fantastic cottage, everything you could need, plus a welcoming cake."

Highly recommend, it was sometimes hard to leave each morning to go and explore the fantastic and beautiful county of Northumbria. As an extra we also had newly born lambs in the field the cottage overlooked, a wonderful reminder that spring has finally arrived.
