“Lovely character cottage very well ...”

Lovely character cottage very well presented with great facilities. Owners have renovated making best use of space keeping charm but providing mod cons, though toaster would be handy. Cooker a bit tired but works fine and good range of pots and pans etc. Cle er use of space. Brick fire place in bedroom, how cool is that. Bed INCREDIBLY comfortable, wish I knew where they got the mattress ! Great attention to detail and welcome gifts of bread, milk, biscuits and bottle of wine. Wood burner ...

Wood burner lovely feature although took a while to learn the way of it. Once immersion and storage heaters kicked in lovely and cosy. Bathroom chilly but left living room and bathroom door ajar and problem solved. Garden and 'summer room separate building at back with seating area and fridge, sink etc would be brilliant in summer/Autumn, bit too chilly to use this March ! But brilliant extra space. Great local pubs and little village shops. Good base for Alnwick, Morpeth and Berwick, all easily reached and from reading visitor comments a lot of other places easily reached and enjoyed. Would definitely recommend
