“The cottage was well located to support access to the Northumberland coast, the National Park and the Scottish borders.”

All involved some travel but this was a necessary compromise to enjoy all the county had to offer. The cottage was very comfortable and pleasantly furnished. We appreciated the interior and the additional seating outside. Directions were excellent as was information about the locality. We had a wonderful week. If there's any gripe, we thought Sykes's charge of 30.00 to change the week of our booking rather excessive. However, we accept that there has to be a charge to cover the availability of customer service on the telephone and this does not - in any case - reflect on the property itself or its owners.
