  • "The house was very warm, cosy, and welcoming for christmas week, with prosecco chilled and yummy mince pies waiting."

We loved the location just across the road from my favorite beach and 5 min walk into seahouses, for the lovely pubs, restuarants and shops. We will definitely come back to this house again, in spring/summer so we can relax in the lovely garden.

  • "We had a fabulous time in Seahouses."

The property is so well situated to access the beach, town and harbour, all walking distance of about 5 - 10 mins. The interior is so well thought out. Loved the mix of old and new and very dog friendly. A couple of maintenance issues which we left a note about. Took trips out to Alnwick (and amazing Barter Books store), Farne Islands, Bamburgh and Holy Island. All fabulous. Would definitely recommend a stay in Seahouses and particularly in this property.

The garden was a bonus which we sat out in as much as we could when we weren't out exploring! The house was conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the town and all amenities. There are some lovely coastal walks on the doorstep and also lots of places to visit only a few miles from Seahouses. We would definitely stay here again.

  • "Nice house & nice big garden for the dog."

Well situated, busy road out front though. Being in the double glazing trade, i have informed the owner that the glass in the ensuite needs to be toughened glass!. Could do with black out blind in the main bedroom as the light streams in early, and a blind that would let the light through in the en-suite!!, as you have to put the black out blind down every time you go in, and it makes it dark, taps in both bathrooms need oiling or replaced.... horrid to use. No plugs in the passage way for hoovering up, and a bit paint here and there needed too. We were there mainly for work purposes, nice having 2 separate lounges.

Easy joining instructions and great to park the car right outside the house. If you have a dog, which we don’t, a pleasant enclosed garden. A stunning coastal walk along the beach from your doorstep. Walk into the harbour for a boat trip. What more could we ask for apart from better weather! Northumberland is a beautiful county, we will return to area and won’t hesitate to book this cottage again.

Very close to the beach for walking the dogs. Plenty of garden space, 2 TV's and 2 bathrooms a bonus. Only downside is if you are a light sleeper or like the window open in the bedroom, blackout curtains/blinds would be wonderful as the sun shines in very early and being on a main road you hear traffic till late and it starts early morning. The owner sent a lovely welcome text on arrival and left a bottle of prosecco in the fridge, this was the first time in all the years we have rented cottages that this was done for us, thank you. • "We had a lovely week staying here with our 2 teenagers and 6 month old puppy."

The garden is amazing - sunny and totally enclosed, so we could let our puppy play in the garden knowing that she could not escape. It was also nice for us to sit in the garden too! The location is ideal - a short walk in one direction to the co-op and then to the rest of Seahouses, and an even shorter walk in the other direction to the beach and the golf course. Being really picky, we think the front porch and front garden need a bit more love! Also, blackout blinds/curtains in the bedrooms would ensure a better night’s sleep, particularly in May/June when the nights are short. Finally, a barbecue in the garden would be lovely! Overall, though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

It suited our needs perfectly with a large enclosed garden for our doggies, super kitchen/lounge/diner and separate lounge for the boys. An ensuite to the main bedroom is always a bonus and the location was perfect, close to beach, short walk to shops. The only improvement for us would be the addition of a small lamp in the lounge area of the kitchen diner because the ceiling lights are too bright when watching TV in the evening. • "Clean, comfortable and cozy cottage with all the facilities you need made for a great week’s stay."

Situated on the outskirts of Seahouses close to the public footpaths across the golf course to the beach which was a 5min stroll away. Likewise a 5 min walk up to Seahouses which has all the restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops needed for a short break. Excellent base to explore the fantastic Northumberland coast and countryside. Joanne the owner contacted us a couple of times to keep us informed about the cottage and a nice welcome for our stay. Great accommodation, great location, dog friendly made for a superb short break. Would definitely recommend the property and we will look forward to returning in the future.

  • "The cottage at 60 King street for us was just perfect."

The cottage is decorated very tastefully and is very spacious and comfortable. The owner Joanna has equipped the cottage with everything you will need for an enjoyable holiday . Lots of kitchen utensils for cooking and bedding /towels etc is of good quality.excellent tv broadband. There is even dog bowls and bedding for the dogs which we felt was a nice touch as was the Presecco. Seahouses is lovely seaside town with a food Italian restaurant and pizzeria . We like to thank Joanna for our stay and we will definitely book again.

The house was exceptional in always. Large, light and clean. Outside space super for our dog all fenced. Because we were only there for the weekend we only used the house to sleep in but all the facilities there to prepare and cook all meals if on a budget. Had a meal in Bamburgh castle inn dogs welcome. The Joiners Arms at Newton-by-the-sea is definitely worth a visit dog friendly and amazing food.

  • "Firstly arrival at the premises was easy and the instructions made entry into the premises so simple."

We had received a call from the owner (Johanna) of the premises to advise us that the previous occupants had left a day early for personal reasons and that the premise was now available for occupancy earlier in the day. While we were unable to take up this kind offer, it was a nice touch on behalf of the owner. The house itself is immaculately clean and very well decorated, the two reception rooms are useful, especially if you want a bit of quiet time. The large enclosed garden is perfect for dogs and our weimeraner certainly made her self at home. There is off street parking which was perfect. The house is well situated and was a 5-6 minute walk to the high street and very similar to the dog friendly Black Swan Inn. We had a 15 minute walk to St Aiden’s beach which was perfect to run our weimy. And yet 5 mins across the golf course is another beach that is perfect for dog walking.... The whole area is very relaxing and dog friendly.... in my view 60 King’s Street is the perfect location to explore the Northumberland coast... It sleeps 4 easily and the two bathrooms provide an element of privacy, but more importantly the beds are comfy... consider this a 5 star recommendation and I am extremely fussy.

  • "This property has been professionally renovated and modernised, and tastefully decorated."

It is in a good place close to the sea, and walking distance to Seahouses. It has a huge beautiful fully enclosed rear garden. Great for kids and dogs. It has 2 separate lounge rooms, which enables privacy and abilities to watch different TV. New superb kitchen, and useful downstairs toilet. The en-suite in the main bathroom is new and very tasteful, and the bed is so comfy. The 2nd bedroom is big, and the main bathroom again is new and lovely. Huge garage if needed adjoined. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this home and would return again. There is a little road noise at busy times, but it never bothered me, as the double glazing blocks it out well. Very recommended
