    Thank you Douglas

  • "Second stay here because the location and space is fantastic."

Beds comfortable and spotlessly clean. Just a few things need sorting... The switch on the kettle is broken, still working but needs replacing. TV in sitting room had funny blotches over the screen. Admittedly we don't travel to Seahouses to watch TV but not really 4 star standard. Also pillows seen better days. Love the flat and will stay again. It just feels a little unloved.

  • "This was our second stay at Coastal Haven."

Fantastic location with off-road parking, we only used the car a couple of times. The apartment itself is very comfortable, but could benefit from a lick of paint. Co-op is directly opposite so nice and handy but be warned deliveries during the week early morning can be an unwelcome wake up. This wouldn’t put us off visiting again as the location is spot on, centre of Seahouses, great for walks either way towards Beadnell or Bamburgh and handy for the bus stop. Also no issues at all with WIFI as other reviews had mentioned, would come again!

  • "Nicely furnished but lacked 'welcome'."

The food/drink pack was adequate but no soap pawder for the washing machine, no liquid soap and separate towel in the bathroom and winter weight duvets on the single and king beds and the separated king bed had king duvets doubled and put into single covers!! Visitors do not want to spend their first evening remaking beds. The owner appears more interested in his/her profit than their visitors comfort & enjoyment. The office staff and cleaning team were a delight to meet and do an exellent job.

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Coastal Haven, and found the property to be of a very satisfactory standard, the reason we have gave 3 for cleanliness is that some of the dishes in cupboard hadn't been washed properly and were still covered in food, maybe this needs checked in the future."

    Price reasonable though.

  • "The property has recently changed hands and there were some teething problems."

Some of my requests hadn't been received and it took 3 days to get the wifi working properly. Also some small maintenance issues. But otherwise a cosy, spacious and pleasant place to stay in and I would recommend it. Beautiful area with stunning coastline.

  • "This is our fourth visit to this property and we didn’t find it to the standard it usually is."

The beds were really uncomfortable, mattresses are needing replaced. There were a few kitchen items missing or broken, which we reported. The wifi did not work for any part of our stay. There were a lot of stains on the carpets. We enjoyed our stay in Seahouses as we always do but we were disappointed in our accommodation this year.

A well equipped kitchen and good quality bed linen and towels.

The location could not have been better. My 7 yr old niece did not want to come home, thank you for a lovely stay

  • "The property was centrally located with excellent access to all amenities."

It’s spacious and feels like home from home. Although in the distance, there is a good view of Bamburgh Castle. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Excellent welcome pack.

  • "This property is a perfect spot to roam from Seahouses - it's the best of both worlds."

Big bedrooms and bathroom, a nice size, and near the shops and local pubs and eateries. Great place to stay overall and we will be returning again and again!

  • "Lovely flat."

Perfect for our week’s stay with children, brother and sister-in-law and their dog. Clean with all the facilities you need for a holiday. Great location opposite the co-op and near the fantastic bakers. Really tasty fish and chips from down the road and great to be in walking distance of the sea and the coastal footpaths.

  • "Beautiful apartment, very clean and modern."

Even though it was on a Main Street it was very quiet. A bonus having free parking. Would definitely stay there again.

  • "The apartment was ideal for us."

It had everything we needed and more. Good quality tasteful furniture and fittings. The beds were all really comfortable and the linen was of a high quality. It was the perfect base for us to explore Seahouses and the surrounding areas and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the area. We really appreciated the 'extra' touches of milk in the fridge, yummy biscuits and tea/coffee all there on our arrival. Thank you!
