Perfect base for exploring the local area and amazing coastal walks. We particularly enjoyed playing four local golf courses and the Serenity sunset cruise from Seahouses to the Farne Islands. We were lucky to see dolphins twice as well.

An excellent provision of kitchen items, although weighing scales would have been useful. We really appreciated the complimentary filter coffee, milk and wine, but alas the biscuits were missing!! The seating in the lounge was less comfortable and we feel it needs updating. Nevertheless we had an enjoyable stay.

The owners couldn't have been more helpful in providing changes of bedding and little touches such as getting out the trundle bed which our 3 year old granddaughter loved rather than the higher bed which she could have fallen out of. Large buckets and spades were left out for the older grandchildren who came the first week and a smaller set for the 3 year old the 2nd week. We loved sitting out in the garden, the freedom to do the washing and hang it out to dry, bake quiches and cakes with grandchildren. The views are spectacular and we loved the beaches. All the facilities were there. We were made to feel very welcome in a delightful home from home and heartily recommend this property to anyone looking for a holiday in Northumberland.
