“Fantastic place , walking distance into town Parking was sometimes a problem but don’t let this put you off this wonderful property !”

The property

This is a delightful, renovated, Victorian property with original features and a wonderful central location in the town of Morpeth.

The exterior of the property is beautifully presented in stunning detail with an original Victorian-style front door, as well as double fronted windows.

Entering the hallway on the ground floor, you will see that both the sitting room and dining room are equally sized and offer a great space for socialising and relaxing with family and friends.

Both rooms hold the property's Victorian charm with original shutter windows, a homely fireplace in the dining room and a woodburning stove in the sitting room.

Across the corridor, you'll find a splendid modern fitted kitchen, fully equipped with all the appliances you will need during your stay, topped off by the Velux window that allows natural light to fill the room; a WC completes the ground floor layout.

Leading out from the kitchen through the back door, the property offers a glorious west-facing outdoor space including a patio with table and chairs and steps leading up to the garden.

Belmont House comes with two king-size bedrooms, the second with a delightful fitted fireplace and shutter windows.

The king-size bedroom to the right of the hallway includes elegant Victorian-style wall cornicing, and next to this room is a contemporary tiled bathroom, complete with a bath with shower over, so you have the option of a relaxing soak or a quick refreshing shower to start your day.

Small steps to the left of the landing will lead you to the second stunning, spacious, king-size bedroom.

This can be set up as either two singles or a super-king depending on your preference.

For all your leisure needs, the town of Morpeth is a 7-minute walk from the property, where you'll find all your food shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre and the Morpeth Chantry and Clock Tower Museum.

Additionally, for scenic riverside strolls, the River Wansbeck is a 2-minute walk from the property.
