  • "Eden cottage is such a lovely place to stay."

It is homely with stylish and personal touches. We relaxed instantly. Great location near beautiful Northumberland beaches, towns, countryside and a great farm shop that does meals is within walking distance. We also love trains so it was nice to watch them pass through. We will return in the future.

  • "Eden Cottage was a great place to get away to."

The area is lovely. Originally booked for April but due to Covid 19, the holiday happened in August. Excellent for us as it meant that we could get away. The cottage met our expectations with enough space for us all. The train and road noise is definitely a factor but you quickly get used to it - it made it interesting for the dogs with lots of different noises to listen to.

  • "Lovely clean and well equipped cottage In a beautiful part of the country."

Great communication from the owners who also left thoughtful gifts for our arrival. The weather could have been better but we were there in February and our dog enjoyed the muddy walks!! - especially Plessey Woods Country Park just a five minute drive away. Recommend the Char Mausum Indian restaurant just up the road. Hope to return

The shared access to the back garden is a bit of a pain but didnt spoil things Near the railway line but you soon get used to it. Highly recommend.

  • "Eden Cottage was a real "home from home"."

Comfortable, warm and cosy. The standard of cleanliness was excellent. The garden was secure for our dog. Everything was provided to make staying at the cottage a relaxing experience. A good base to discover the coast and also a quick "nip" up the A1 to access other parts of Northumberland. Visit Holy Island, Amble (great Fish and Chips at the Fish Shack), the Lady of the North, Whitley Bay and Newbiggin and don't forget the magnificent beaches (especially Durridge). Yes, the railway runs very close but you get use to it and may even begin to look out for the next train coming along!

  • "Very clean and comfortable cottage."

Good quality fixtures and fittings. Comfortable bed and good shower. Both front and back gardens were private and secure …. safe for both small children or dogs. Lovely farm shop just 5 minute walk away selling good quality produce with an excellent café attached. The Indian restaurant in the village is also worth a visit! Overall the cottage was an excellent base for exploring Northumberland but is in close proximity to the road and railway so there was some minor traffic noise when sitting outside. Would recommend this property and would stay there again if visiting the area.
