“We just had the most incredible time.”

The house is wonderful, spacious and quirky, and comfy. The hot tub is a bonus. The hosts were warm and helpful without being intrusive. The whole area is superb.

The property

Perfect for the whole family, this retreat boasts four bedrooms, and a spacious interior so everyone can feel right at home.

The lounge is beautifully presented with its collection of sofas, and a dining area, where you and your loved ones can spend some quality time.

Accessorised and furnished to a high standard, this room is a comfortable place to return to after an adventure-filled afternoon.

A kitchen lies further down the hall, with a range of appliances and a sense of charm that creates a cosy place to prepare those appetising meals.

Four double bedrooms make up the accommodation, and the master bedroom is really something special, laced with elegance and fine detail, from the pretty bedding to the dressing table and wardrobe.

If you can steer yourself away from this enchanting cottage, wander out to the enclosed garden, boasting a hot tub for an afternoon away from it all, and a patio area to enjoy the location from.

Dominated by countryside and with Thrunton Woods just a short stroll away, this is certainly a well-appointed market town.

Choose from the selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands.

A superb cottage in a much admired part of Northumberland.

A pretty, rural village just outside of the Northumberland National Park. It is a village with beautiful countryside and some fantastic examples of history. Edlingham itself dates back to the 8th century, and it boasts a 11th century church as well as the remains of the 12th century Edlingham Castle which you can still visit today. It is a fantastic base for an outdoor holiday, with the 55 mile long Devil's Causeway running up the west side of the village, accompanied by beautiful scenery. Also nearby is Thrunton Wood which you can enjoy. For nearby shops and pubs, Rothbury is just a short drive away and is the perfect example with a delightful range of amenities, a place also with beautiful scenery and historic buildings.
