  • “Cottage was extremely clean & had all the facilities you require.”

First cottage we have ever been to where the kettle was clean, hooray. Always have to take kettle cleaner with us as they are so scaled up, so ten out of ten for that. The addition of the Hot Tub was a real bonus, never used one before & ended up going in it every evening after a busy day out. It was pure bliss! Other guests have complained about neighbours looking at you when you are in it, believe me that is not possible. Several people have moaned about the driveway damaging their cars, how is that possible?? We never had any problems at all. Yes it does need repairing as it is lumpy & bumpy so I would agree with that. When we stripped the bed on leaving it was a bit of a shock to see how stained the quilt was, so not very pleasant. Either needs cleaning or a new one purchasing. Always horrible to find what’s hidden, not a nice thing. Other problem for us as always is that the owner states house is dog friendly, believe me they never are!! Once you get there they always have rules & restrictions about where the dog can go. If you don’t like dogs then don’t rent your house out to anyone who has one. Respect the fact that the majority of owners of pets are not stupid & don’t let their dogs damage anything. If you have rules about dogs then publish that in your description of the property on the website.
