    “Fantastic cottage!”

    Huge garden for our dog and kids to play in. The hot tub was excellent and house was very clean and comfortable. Surprisingly big as well! Lovely peaceful area to visit.

The tiered garden is safe for pets and just a short walk from your cottage will take you to the banks of the River Tweed where you can bask in the delightful views.

Just 2.5 miles away is the centre of Cornhill-on-Tweed, where you will find an array of shops, pubs and restaurants.

There is plenty to see and do in the area, perhaps try your hand at fishing, play a round of golf, enjoy some of the many walks around the area or simply sit back, relax and enjoy your wonderful cottage.

The pretty little village of Cornhill-on-Tweed lies on the Scottish Border on the northerly edge of Northumberland, just 1.5 miles from Coldstream and 15 miles from Berwick and the coast. It's a peaceful area with breathtakingly beautiful open countryside - great for walkers and golfers - whilst the River Tweed is a huge draw for fishermen. Cornhill is a mere 30 minutes gentle drive from Northumberland's Heritage Coast, with its castles, miles of sandy beaches, wildlife and dunes. Alnwick with its period Norman Castle and Garden is just 40 minutes away. The village boasts a post office/shop (which sells most everyday basic items), and a Country House Hotel, The Collingwood Arms, highly regarded for its fine ale and foods.
