  • “We had a wonderful stay.”

The cottage is very well equipped and is perfectly located just off the A1, making it very accessible to all the local attractions. The cottage is very well equipped and is perfectly located just off the A1, making it very accessible to all the local attractions. With Holy Island just a couple of miles down the road and Edinburgh just 60 miles further north, it’s in a great position. The cottage has a very large garden looking out onto fields of sheep and with views out to sea, Holy Islands and in the far distance, Bamburgh castle. Kitchen is very well equipped, lounge is comfy and snug with a log burner. Beds very comfortable. If I was to be super picky, it’s would be useful to have some bath sheets. Whilst there’s plenty of towels, it’s nice to have a big towel and the lighting in the kitchen might be a bit dim for some with poorer vision. Otherwise, really can’t fault the cottage and the attentiveness of the owners.
