The property

This charming terraced cottage, in the centre of Wooler, sits in a brilliant location for exploring The Cheviots, Northumberland National Park, the surrounding countryside and all that Northumberland has to offer.

Perfect for a family holiday, there are two lovely bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs, whilst the bright sitting room with dining area on the ground floor offers a wonderful place to sit and relax together after a great day out.

With a well-equipped kitchen overlooking the rear garden, you can conjure up delicious home-cooked meals, or put together a picnic before setting off for the day, while other members of the family enjoy a relaxing drink outside.

The tiered garden is enclosed, with a patio area and steps down to a lawn with herbaceous borders.

The pubs and restaurants in Wooler offer good food and ales should you fancy a night off cooking and there are plenty of shops and a Post Office providing all the essentials.

A short drive from your doorstep will take you to the foothills of the Cheviots in the Northumberland National Park, with wonderful scenery for walking, cycling and pony trekking to suit all abilities.

A little further afield lies the Heritage Coastline with an abundance of long golden beaches and historic castles.
