  • "This was a very good property, slightly let down for us by the following: There was no tea pot (but two coffee cafetieres) and only six cups for (potentially) four people."

    The kitchen has two ovens and a five ring induction hob, but is short of items needed for food preparation: e.g. there are no scales or scissors; there is one large pyrex bowl, but no others (a medium and a small would have been handy); one pizza tray; one very large rectangular oven dish (think lasagne dish) but nothing smaller. No towel provided in the kitchen nor surface cleaning spray. Also, the listing is silent on this, so to help anyone else who wonders... there is no washing machine in the property. There IS a dining table (not shown in the photos) but it has one chair and two benches.

  • "We are so pleased that we chose this property for our stay back in Cheshire."

    We had visited Capesthorne hall many times when we lived in Cheshire but it far surpassed our expectations for a short break in beautiful surroundings. The property was spacious, clean and impressively fitted out with excellent kitchen and bathrooms. The rooms and the beds were comfortable and great bedding and fabrics were used throughout. As resident we were permitted to walk the grounds of the estate until early evening and it was a delight to explore the woodland walks and lakeside gardens. This in my opinion is a luxury property, I give it 5stars.

  • "The property was even better than the description."

    It was much more comfortable than we expected, with a cosy dining table in the well-fitted kitchen area. The lounge was relaxing and sunny, ideal for us as we are limited in what we can do these days. We had one or two questions and were impressed at how quickly staff responded: they couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The stairs up to the flat are tricky, but manageable.The grounds are beautiful for walks that even I can manage and we were lucky to see the bluebells in full flower. I’d also highly recommend the tour of Capesthorne Hall.

  • "A two pin shaver socket, would have been useful or at least an adapter from three pin to two pin."

    A pair of scissors in the kitchen again would be beneficial We had to go out and buy toilet rolls as there was only one spare and the two on the holders when we arrived for the week But all in all it has been the best place we have ever stayed. Thank you very much.

  • "A stunning property in beautiful surroundings."

    Very spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was a great space but our only criticism of the entire property was they provided 2 ovens, great but no oven pots/dishes and no mixing bowls etc.(easily remedied) All four of us did keep slipping off the shiny high kitchen stools

  • "5 star accommodation for sure, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, 2 lovely big bathrooms, very spacious apartment, views around the estate from every window."

    Nice garden with table & chairs - be great in the Summer time. Walks around the Capesthorne Estate are an added bonus, so quiet & peaceful but a great location for visiting so many attractions in this area. The staff in the office are so helpful and very quickly resolved a small issue with had with hot water. Will definitely be booking again, really cannot praise this apartment enough.

  • "Large first floor flat finished to a very high standard."

    Very quiet and comfortable and located in a Stately Home. Smart TV did not want to stream a number of websites like All 4 from a laptop. It probably needs an update.

History buffs may wish to venture further outside the village to Tatton Park, a Tudor Hall with lush gardens to explore.
