Everything is designed for comfort and convenience with high end appliances and furnishings. It was also very clean and warm. The location in the centre of town and a parking space is ideal for exploring lovely Ludlow and all it offers.

It has all the comforts of home, plus. It was very clean and organized. Info binders and tourist brochures contained every possible detail and local places to visit either by foot or train. The cottage was in a perfect location, I was able to walk everywhere. Walks in and surrounding Ludlow were all doable and easy to get to. Lots of shops, restaurants and take away choices. I would definitely stay at Cariad Cottage again whenever the opportunity arises. Thanks so much for your help and prompt attention to my every need.

Excellent welcome pack with a very well appointed kitchen including electrical equipment Quality TV and package was appreciated. Although we appreciate that this was a period cottage with limited natural lighting the living room was very dark and cluttered and would benefit a modern makeover. The bedding was clean but the creased and dowdy quilt covers were a disappointment

If i were looking for a place for a month , i doubt there would be anything needed not already provided.. Very centrally located to both the city center and 2 large supermarkets, a car is not entirely necessary. If I have one criticism , its a personal one and not relevant to all, but the single beds were way too soft for me - can only sleep on a firm bed. Overall a comfortable place to stay

It suited our needs as a couple perfectly, it was comfortable, warm and the hospitality of the owner was excellent. The cottage is ideally situated being less than a five minute walk from the town centre which was lovely to explore. There were also a few great circular walks (4-5) miles which allowed us to enjoy the spectacular countryside and views that surround the town. Turn the other way out of the cottage and it was less than 5 minutes to the train station with a regular service to the likes of Shrewsbury and Hereford. The historic market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amidst the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches. With more than 500 listed buildings, the town provides a fascinating range of architecture including Ludlow Castle which is over 900 years old and is one of the first stone castles to be built in England. Below the castle, Millenium Green offers a large public riverside green and weir and provides excellent indoor and outdoor dining facilities via the Green Cafe located right on the riverside. Ludlow has held street markets since the twelfth century. Nowadays, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year.
