  • "What an amazing place to stay, the property was spotlessly clean and had everything you would ever need for your stay."

The little touches like the shampoo and conditioner, slippers eye masks, dressing gowns plus so much more. Thank you for the lemon cake, it was scrumptious and thank you for making our stay everything we wanted, we would highly recommend your property to anyone who wants to be in Ludlow. Communication was superb and I honestly can't find any negatives in regard to the property etc, definitely 5 star from us. Pam & Bryn Williams xx

  • "Nellie’s Cottage is a top quality beautifully presented holiday home."

We are a family group of three adults. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard.Beds are super comfy with lovely white bedding etc and fluffy white towels and bath robes. The remote controlled heating is super efficient with instant copious hot water in kitchen and bathroom. The cottage was presented in impeccably clean condition with little hygiene labels on touch points! Elena the owner made arrival straightforward by leaving a key for us and advising us on parking(easy and straightforward)We also arrived to find a rather nice gateau on the dining table for us-much appreciated! The cottage is quietly situated only a five minute walk from Ludlow town centre- a real plus point. Finally you just could not fault this cottage-thank you so much Elena.

  • "Lovely cottage, very clean and centrally located and lots of little extras too!"

Car parking is in a car park a couple of minutes up the road and a parking permit was arranged for us by Elena. The house is along an alleyway (only used for access to the houses) and so may not be suitable for people who would struggle with carrying luggage from the car park. Communication regarding the parking/access etc. was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the cottage again. Ludlow itself is a lovely place, lots of interesting shops, restaurants and pubs (although I would advise booking for food as some are struggling for staff currently). Lot's of interesting places to visit in the area too.

Thank you for these lovely comments, very much appreciated and hope to see you again Property Owner

We had everything we needed. The garden was a real bonus as we had amazing weather. The cottage is ideally located to walk into Ludlow to visit the castle, shops & restaurants etc. Also short drives to other interesting towns - just perfect! The owner was very thoughtful, leaving welcome gifts and a fan in our bedroom. Nellies cottage is the most comfortable & welcoming cottage we have ever stayed in so we hope to return to see more of the local area.

  • "Nellie's Cottage was a lovely place to stay - a real home from home."

Spotless, well equipped, cosy, very comfortable bed, lovely garden and excellent location. No parking by the cottage, but the owner arranged a parking permit in the closest carpark (2 min walk away) which was perfect. Ludlow is a lovely town and we felt safe and welcome everywhere. It's a great place for walkers with many walks from the doorstep or a short drive away. Would definitely be back.

  • "The presentation of this cottage is superb."

Everything has been thought through, and the welcome provisions were most unexpected. Central for Ludlow, it’s location included a beautifully quiet garden, with facilities for outdoor dining. No expense had been spared to ensure visitors had a comfortable stay in delightful surroundings. Maybe not suitable for folk unable to manage luggage from car park, but in every other aspect, cannot recommend this cottage highly enough.

We felt very safe staying here during this difficult time with corona virus. The cottage was very well equipped with everthing you need for a self-catering holiday but it's also close to the restaurants and pubs in Ludlow if you want to eat out. • "What a lovely cottage in a fantastic location!"

The cottage has been very recently been renovated to a very high standard with lovely finishing touches and everything you could need. It is located up a little path off the main road so it is quiet but within a minute walk you are in the town of Ludlow. There are car parking bays close by for unloading and then if you ask the host can arrange free parking for you, which they did, and the car park is only a few minutes away on foot. Communication was excellent and the host very thoughtful- when the weather turned out to be a lot different from the forecast we had a text asking if we needed a warmer duvet. We were were greeted with a basket of lovely local goodies and other items including milk and a bottle a wine! We felt really comfortable and at home in the cottage and although not stated in the description we had use of Netflix which was an added bonus. The area is lovely for walks, Ludlow brewery is under a 10 minute walk away along with the station and an Aldi and a Tesco. In Ludlow itself there are several bakers, butchers, a cheese shop and other delis so really good for trying local produce. Would thoroughly recommend Nellie's.
