Beautifully decorated for Xmas, for the size of the house it was lovely and warm all the time. We had a lovely relaxing stay after the chaos of Xmas. Anna was very welcoming when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic time and managed to make good use of the garden. The kids loved feeding the fish. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out and relax in th house without getting in each others way. We would love to return.

The house exceeded our expectations and was very well located for us to get together with friends and family. Four generations of our family benefitted from the space and tranquility of the setting. The house was very well equipped and we definitely hope to return.

  • "Fantastic location for a getaway with a group of friend or as a family."

The house and its grounds are well kept with plenty of areas outside for relaxing. Great local pubs and restaurants nearby with plenty of walking routes. Amenities in the house are plenty - towels, bedding, sofa throws and extra throws for cold nights. Also very clean. We spent the weekend as a group of friends - did some running, spent time on the grounds and our evenings around the large kitchen table playing board games. I personally left a fleece at the property and Anna kindly posted this back free of charge! Great service and stay.

  • "Superb host and stunning property more than we expected and perfect for a family or group stay."

The grounds are immaculate and everything you need is where you expect it to be. The beds were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need for group catering even little pot warmers for big meals like full English. Check in and out was easy and I can’t wait to come back. Our kids and my dad simply adored the Koi Carp in the pond and feeding them became a highlight of our days. We loved the pagoda and the garden and spent an afternoon lying by the pond and played cricket.

Perfect for a family gathering or stay with friends. We would definitely book again. Note that the sat nav doesn't take you quite to the entrance but it is a little further down the road with yellow roses outside.

  • "You can’t say this property hasn’t got kerb appeal."

It’s an older building but has all the amenities, was warm, and the sitting rooms and bedrooms comfortable. The outside space is as impressive as the interior. We were on a “cycling” holiday and there are lots of quiet lanes villages and pubs in the area, particularly down towards Market Bosworth or up towards Breedon on the hill. Only slight downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit weak when using TV or streaming sport. Anna met us on arrival and was friendly and helpful.

Kids and adults enjoyed the house, the garden and the pond. Right in the middle of the countryside (with lots of walks starting at your doorstwp), but 5 minutes away fram restaurants, shops, parks, etc. Anna was a great host. Will come back soon.

Plenty of room even with seven adults and two dogs! The owner is lovely and you can see from her suggestions book that she has added everything that was suggested by previous renters. The grounds are huge and the only shame was we didn’t get the weather to sit out and enjoy them. This is a real put your feet up and make yourselves at home place. The furniture is comfortable and lived in and it had everything we needed. It suited us and our family and friends (and labradors!) down to the ground. Definitely want to return!

  • "This is a fantastic property, offering superb value for money."

Set in a quiet village, it is a great base to not venture out for the week, or take a short drive to plenty of interesting local places. This is a lovely property, offering 5 bedrooms, plenty of parking, and total privacy. The owner was nearby, if required, however, not required by us as our holiday was perfect, so was the weather. All in all, a fantastic property which I think could charge much more, and still provide value for money. We were Lord and Ladies of the Manor! We would definitely go back, and definitely recommend this lovely home!

Wow, thank you. So pleased you enjoyed your stay, be great to see you all again Property Owner
