  • "Lovely location for exploring derbyshire but the cottage was tired and needed love and attention to bring it up to sykes standards."

Windows and doors were filthy, no gloves, cleaning equipment etc for the woodburner, the oven rocks from side to side when using, as it has no tiles underneath, is unlevel and is propped up on coasters, very little cooking utensils, the frying pans were dire and unusable. The bed was comfy but the decor needs some attention and the shower is very difficult to stand up in to shower and so slippery. All in all great location but the cottage really needs some serious love and attention, along with more cooking utensils, a stable cooker etc. to bring it up to standard.

Great area to explore, either on foot bus or car. The owner was very helpful. Even the neighbour put the bin out! How nice was that!
