The property

A beautifully decorated annexe cottage attached to the owners home on Clumber Lane Farm next to the National Trust site of Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.

The annexe includes the front porch to the right side of the property, with there being a shared staircase centrally.

The idyllic location and high quality decor make this property the ideal stay for a relaxing couple's retreat or an ideal activity break.

Step in from the hall and be greeted by the tastefully decorated sitting room set with original rustic wooden beams, charming furniture, a warming woodburning stove and a HD TV and Blu ray player, making the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a film.

Head through into the kitchen and dining area, a contemporary room with exquisite kitchen fittings, a vaulted ceiling with original beams and French patio doors leading outside to the wonderful gardens and patio area.

The ground floor also benefits from a small cloakroom.

Heading on up the shared staircase, discover the fabulous, cosy double bedroom set with excellent views and a Smart TV and luxury fitted wardrobes with built in drawers and dressing table.

The bedroom is also serviced by a large, luxurious shower room with a stunning wetwall and a double walk-in shower and vanity unit wash basin with illuminated mirror above.

A study completes the accommodation.

To the outside of the cottage there is a delightful patio area with furniture for you to sit and enjoy the sun or you can explore the formal lawns and ancient woodlands to the side which cover 5 acres.

Hardwick lies on the banks of the River Poulter, which flows onto Clumber Lake, the village's Broomwagon Velo Café overlooks the lake. Worksop is an excellent holiday base for your Nottinghamshire break, it boasts a wide range of shops and restaurants as well as a choice of golf courses and the National Trust Mr. Straw's House which is worth a visit. Sheffield makes for a wonderful day out, with beautiful architecture and great shopping. The Peak District National Park is also accessible for you more active visitors, there are many opportunities for hikers, cyclists and wildlife spotters, along with some charming towns and villages.
