  • "We had a really lovely break in Pond Cottage and would recommend it but with only one consideration."

We couldn’t take full advantage of the patio setting as there was an ongoing wasp problem. The notice regarding bees outside the window was misleading as they were wasps entering into the wall outside the shower room. These can be exterminated quite easily by professionals and we in this hot weather would have been able to open doors and other windows and feel at ease.

Welcome hamper and wine, so thoughtful. Everything had been thought of and provided. We felt so relaxed and looked forward to returning every day of our stay. Central to so many lovely places including Chatsworth, Hardwick Hall. Peaceful surroundings and daily geese, coots, abd heron visitors to watch. Also Archie dog and fluffy cat.

G Bridge by water fall very over grown. The small little house is amazing for 2 people the tv bits slow but ok cooker is great the layout is amazing and well designed the radiator in the bathroom need to have an off switch as make the bathroom and bedroom very hot and hard to sleep we had to shut bathroom door all day to be able to sleep at night. This place is for older people I would not recommend for younger couples as not much to do around the area unless you want to go for long walks what we found to do it end up being a very nice hoilday. Hoist was amazing to speak to just next door if need them. Was not too happy the we was not updated that there was a bees nest outside the house by are door. I would recommend to my older family and friends as its a amazing to have a peaceful and calm hoilday to sit and relax great for weekends hoilday.
