The pond was an absolute delight, so many different birds on there and others flying around. We desperately needed a break, which we got in full. The welcome pack was amazing, so many lovely goodies and there was obviously a lot of thought went into it. We definitely hope to return, when we visit our friend, in nearby Mansfield xx

You can tell that the owners have tried to make everything extra special for their guests - from the comfy living room furniture and the super comfy bed, to the added extras like toiletries in the bathroom and very generous welcome basket (I was so disappointed I accidentally left food in the kitchen cupboard because I was looking forward to eating the chocolates when I got home!!). Would love to return another time and check on all the wildlife on the pond!

We couldn’t take full advantage of the patio setting as there was an ongoing wasp problem. The notice regarding bees outside the window was misleading as they were wasps entering into the wall outside the shower room. These can be exterminated quite easily by professionals and we in this hot weather would have been able to open doors and other windows and feel at ease.

This place is for older people I would not recommend for younger couples as not much to do around the area unless you want to go for long walks what we found to do it end up being a very nice hoilday. Hoist was amazing to speak to just next door if need them. Was not too happy the we was not updated that there was a bees nest outside the house by are door.
