She made us very welcome. The only advice I would give is to remove most of the china ornaments if letting to families.

Thank you for your kind feedback which is very much appreciated. I usually leave it to the parents discretion to remove anything they think may get broken but thank you for your advice. Property Owner

It suited our needs perfectly. We stayed here with my in laws whilst we attended a wedding nearby. The property was immaculately clean and there was lots of space, so we didn’t feel like we were encroaching on one another. It was very well equipped, having a travel cot, highchair, bath mats etc really helped with the little ones. Gill was a wonderful host and made our stay very comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you very much for having us.

The photos do not do it justice - it is so spacious, clean and beautifully presented. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. As 6 adults, we all commented on how much space we had and what good value it was. It was great that all rooms had an ensuite. Gill was a fantastic host and kept in contact throughout. • "What a fabulous cottage the Dairy is."

The host, Gill, was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, even leaving us a welcome basket. The cottage itself is enormous and spotlessly clean. The cupboards contain everything you will ever need on holiday and there are so many lovely touches to the property, it feels like being in a very tidy, comfortable home. The property is set behind shared automatic gates that gives you that extra security for your vehicle and is easy to find. There isn't any internet, that might put some off but I was able to access it via my phone so was no trouble for me. There are really no words to explain just how fabulous this place is and although I have stayed in loads of cottages over the years, this, without a doubt, is the very best. Thank you.

The owner (next door) was extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. It is also an excellent centre to explore both Nottinghamshire and parts of the Peak District. Most places are now open despite coronavirus, but some need booking in advance. We had days out at Southwell, Newstead Abbey, Sherwood Forest, Bolsover Castle, Peak District, and the excellent Framework Knitters Museum in Ruddington.
