“This was pretty much a last minute booking (bang in the middle of the festive period) which Sykes's reps were brilliant at helping me securing this get away successfully and satisfactorily over the phone and then by emails.”

The location of this nice and comfortable apartment was very important and ideal to me. There is pretty much nothing to fault about the description as advertised of Blossom Hill. It was very comfortable, relaxing and had all the important facilities (free parking, good wifi, adequate self-catering provision, a working dishwasher and washing machine) to my personal need. The very minor niggles like the stiff shower taps as reported previously do actually get easier with more frequent use and the master bedroom door being sticky due new carpets probably needs a slight trim. All in all, Blossom Hill suited me down to a T and will certainly stay there again if available.

About the location

Liverpool 30 miles

A beautiful, bustling city based on three things; culture, music and football. Manchester is one of the most thriving, wonderful cities in Britain with its admirable sense of community and elite facilities. There is something for everybody here, there is almost an endless choice of places to shop, eat and drink with all of your favourites on offer. As well as high quality amenities, Manchester has multiple museums and galleries, including the National Football Museum. As well as outstanding architecture, the city is split by the River Irwell and provides plenty of parks which are great to sit with a picnic. Despite Manchester having all that you will need, the neighbouring rival city of Liverpool is also worth a look, another city based heavily on culture, music and football. If you feel a walk in the countryside is what you need, the Peak District National Park is accessible with incredible scenery.
