  • "This place is a little gem."

It is in a fantastic location for exploring Shrewsbury on foot. Quiet location, rumble of a train occasionally, but definitely nothing to bother us. In fact we even saw a steam train parked up outside one morning! The house is immaculately clean, and has everything you need. Beds very comfortable. Very stylish little place, with amazing attention to detail! Owner very lovely, and we were very appreciative of the welcome goodies. Thankyou!

  • "A lovely cosy cottage in a convenient location."

The welcome pack was a nice surprise and the WiFi is solid (which isn't always so in some cottages we've stayed in). Would definitely recommend 9 Portabello.

The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. In the end just two of us stayed and we were very comfortable. The house is close to a railway line Joanna and Andrew went the extra mile and were fantastic hosts. Thank you
